San Ramón Ranch – Horseback Riding

San Ramón ranch is located on Route 23, 30 kilometres east of San Carlos de Bariloche. Is  one of the oldest working ranches in the area. It covers some 25,000 hectares in the Andes foothills and mainly runs cattle and sheep.

We welcome our guests in a converted rural school in part of the ranch known as “La Fragua”, at the foot of one of the largest condor nesting rocks in the area.

Apart from the natural beauty of the Andes foothills and Patagonian steppe, our guests will have the opportunity to see local flora and fauna including, pink flamingos, black-necked swans and guanacos.

Our full day horse rides consist of a morning ride followed by a delicious home cooked barbeque lunch at La Fragua.
